Bio & co

The Tame and the Wild is the nostalgic-indie-folk band around the singer-songwriter duo Seja Katharina and Flëpp Wenger. The Tame and the Wild played some first shows in 2015 such as Indie Week Manchester (UK), Open Source Festival (D) or Rock-A-Field (L).

During a baby-break in 2016, the band focussed on songwriting and recordings rather than live performances. They’re now working on a serie of ten inch vinyls, with always two studio tracks on the A-Side an two live tracks on the B-Side. Loving both sides, live performing and creative studio time, they want to share these two  worlds with the audience, bundled on one twenty minutes long vinyl.

The studio tracks were recorded and produced by Jens-Peter Abele at Tonetemple Studios (Unterensingen, Germany) and in Seja & Flëpp’s home base studio « Am Weierchen ». The live tracks are recorded by Tom Gatti during a live session at the Vagabond Barr in Dudelange, Luxembourg. You’ll find the matching videos made by Thomas Beaujean on YouTube under « The Vagabond Sessions ». The first EP of this serie was released at the end of october 2017 in Colpach-Bas.
The couple plays as duo, with full band line-up, or a stripped-down set.
